After Smackdown last night Cena, Randy Orton and John Morrison took on The Nexus after Chris Jericho and Edge fought each other and left. Sheamus left as well. Nexus dominated until the end when the faces won. (PWI)

Booker T will be working the July 11th WWC Anniversario event as one of Carlito's three opponents. Carlito has cut his hair and is no longer wearing an afro. Savio Vega was rumored as one of Carlito's three opponents but it seems contract negotiations fell through. (PWI) Carlito talked about all of this and rehab in a new interview.

They wanted me to go to rehab. My opinion was I didn't need it. I'm not addicted to pills. I think what happened is I was depressed. That thing just creeps up on you. I have scripts (for pain medication); I have legit reasons for using them. I think I was abusing them as anti-depressants instead. I remember other people not in WWE would tell me to go to rehab because it looks good on paper. I said, 'One, I don't want to keep my job. Two, I'm not going to admit to a problem I don't have.'

You can read the rest of the interview HERE.

Last but not least good ol' J.R. himself Jim Ross wrote a new blog about Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin.

Guys that work at the gym I go to are still "buzzing" about the Lesnar-Carwin fight that we attended this past Saturday night. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind who the top heavyweight in MMA is now. Brock is on the cusp of some great marketing opportunities would have to assume with his popularity and name identity never being better since he joined UFC. I expect the Lesnar fight to sell approximately 1.2 million PPV's and that figure might be a touch low. It is very likely that Lesnar will earn well north of 7 figures for his efforts once all the PPV and merchandise monies are accounted.

You can read the rest of his new blog HERE.

You can watch a trailer for John Cena's upcoming film "Legendary" HERE.

On August 6th, Eric Bischoff's Micro Championship Wrestling will be holding an event at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre in Austin, Texas - tickets are available HERE. (PWI)

Triple H is currently doing public service announcements for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. (PWI)

Former WWE wrestler Kevin Thorn is taking bookings for autograph signings and wrestling bookings through Bill Behrens at showbis@aol.com and www.sbibookings.com . (PWI)

Here's a press release about a WWE Money in the Bank viewing party.

Hallandale Beach, FL (July 7, 2010) - Sunday, July 18, experience WWE Money in the Bank on the 16' HD screen at Mardi Gras Casino's The Dawg House Bar & Grill located on the second floor. A special appearance and autograph signing by ex-WWE wrestler, Typhoon, kicks off the action at 7:00 p.m. Known as Natural Disaster, Typhoon, together with his partner, Earthquake, dominated the tag team scene, capturing the World Tag Team titles in 1992 when they defeated Money Inc.

There is no cover charge for the autograph signing or viewing party, but seating is limited and there will be a two drink minimum to attend the event. Great drink specials will be available at the Dawg House including $3 domestic drafts, $4 imported drafts and $4.95 pitchers of domestic beer with the purchase of the Bullpen Buffalo Wings. Also, the bar offers 50% off all drinks every night for ‘In the Biz' clients from 11:00 p.m. to close (restrictions apply).

A casual neighborhood watering hole, Dawg House menu items include Bullpen Buffalo Wings, BYOB (build your own burger), Trifecta (sautéed shrimp, mussels and calamari tossed with linguine in a marinara sauce) and the Louisville Slugger Burrito (soft flour tortilla stuffed with rice, sweet peppers, caramelized onions and sliced roast beef, topped with chili, cheddar cheese and garnished with diced tomato and scallions).

Mardi Gras Casino is located at 831 North Federal Highway on the corner of US-1 and Pembroke Road. Ring of Honor sent out this update today. (ROH)
Ring of Honor has always been proud of having perhaps the strongest Tag Team division in all of professional wrestling. The list of former ROH World Tag Team Champions reads like a veritable "who's who" of wrestling, with names like Mark and Jay Briscoe, CM Punk and Colt Cabana, Austin Aries and Roderick Strong, Kevin Steen and El Generico, and the American Wolves living as symbols of Ring of Honor Tag Team prowess throughout the industry.

And now once again Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli – the Kings of Wrestling – wear the coveted World Tag Team Titles and have through their passion and skill (as well as a little golden elbow pad) made their contentions well-known and arrogantly simple: There is no team on Earth capable of beating them.

Ring of Honor Officials have decided to set forth a plan to test their claims and find out if the current ROH Tag Team division is hungry enough to prove them wrong. Therein lies the reasoning behind "Tag Wars 2010". "The Kings say they reign supreme," said ROH on HDNet Executive producer Jim Cornette. "Well now they'll have the perfect chance to show us all how great they really are."

During the weekend of July 16th and 17th in Philadelphia, a twelve team single elimination tournament will begin and through this process the next great challenge for the Kings of Wrestling will become clear. This tournament will be broken into three blocks, with each block housing four teams. Two Opening Round matches will take place during the ROH on HDNet Television tapings that weekend at the Arena in South Philadelphia, with the remaining four Opening Round bouts occurring on July 24th when ROH returns to the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago, IL.

The remaining six teams will move onto the Semi-Final Round, which take place on August 27th as part of Ring of Honor's debut event at the Raceway Complex in Richmond, VA.

The three winning teams in Richmond will move on to the Final Round of competition on August 28th at the Metrolina Expo in Charlotte, NC where they will find themselves in contention for the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship as all three teams will face the Kings of Wrestling in Ultimate Endurance!

Hero and Castagnoli will put the ROH World Tag Team Championship on the line in Charlotte against the winner from each block of competitors and the final match will be fought under Ultimate Endurance rules with stipulations for each fall to be voted on BY THE FANS! For the first time ever, you can decide what the competitors in Ultimate Endurance will face!

Fan voting will begin via email to ROHFansVoice@gmail.com on July 26th after Round One of "Tag Wars 2010" is complete. The complete brackets for "Tag Wars 2010" will be unveiled on Monday, July 12th with the following teams:

Block A
The House of Truth (Raymond/Able)
Necro Butcher and Erick Stevens
The Briscoe Brothers
"Skullkrusher" Rasche Brown and Grizzly Redwood

Block B
The American Wolves (Richards/Edwards)
The All-Night Express (King/Titus)
Colt Cabana and El Generico
Delirious and Jerry Lynn

Block C
The Dark City Fight Club
The Super Smash Brothers
Shawn Daivari and Ernesto Osiris
The Bravado Brothers

Be with us to find out who advances to Ultimate Endurance and takes the Kings of Wrestling to the ultimate test for the ultimate prize in Tag Team Wrestling: The Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles!

Last but not least Raw did a 3.4 rating on Monday. (WO)
