The SmackDown recap begins at 8 pm EST. Press F5 or Refresh for the latest updates.

What's going to happen tonight on SmackDown? How is Rey Mysterio's ankle after Jack Swagger put him in an ankle lock last week. Will we found out who fills in the two empty slots for the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match? Tune in to find out! Don't forget you can join us in the AngryMarks chat room for all of the discussion when the show goes on the air.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown

The show starts off showing clips from SmackDown two weeks ago when Jack Swagger applied the ankle lock on Big Show and didn't break the hold when Show was in the ropes. Then we see clips from last week when Swagger applied the same ankle lock to Rey Mysterio. The pyros go off and we learn that Big Show has demanded a rematch tonight. Drew McIntyre is already in the ring to start the show, but before he can say anything SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long shows up, smiling on his way to the ring.

Long: "What are doing out here? The last time I saw you you were being deported dawg." McIntyre: "Two weeks ago my Visa expired but now my citizenship issues have been resolved. But what hasn't been resolved is the relationship between you and I, Mr. Long. On my flight back home I came to a realization. I realized that I have wronged you in so many ways recently and I know it's not too late to say I'm sorry." Long: "Well Drew, it's never too early you say you're a liar. Now it's obvious what's going on here Drew. You used to have Mr. McMahon in your back pocket, but now that Mr. McMahon is no here anymore there are no special privileges for you. For the first time since you been on SmackDown you are going to be on the same playing field as the rest of the roster." McIntyre: "I didn't come here just to apologize. I came here to personally nominate you as a candidate for the Hall of Fame class of 2011. WrestleMania 27 is going to be a huge week for Atlanta, Mr. Long. Imagine it, sir, receiving your Hall of Fame ring in your hometown while Drew McIntyre main events as the World Heavyweight Champion." Long: "Well one thing you got right, WrestleMania 27 will be a big week in HOTLANTA! You know what, I would love nothing more than to be inducted in the Hall of Fame, and you could be World Champion but the only way that could happen is if you win the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match. Honestly I think if you were in it, you could win." McIntyre: "Thank you very much, Mr. Long."

Long: "Drew, there's just one thing I'd like for you to do for me, is to get down on your knees and beg for it." McIntyre: "You can't be serious." Long: "You seem like you're not familiar with that. You know what, let me show you exactly how it's done. Take a look." We see a clip from three weeks ago when Drew McIntyre made Teddy Long get on his knees to call him The Chosen One in the middle of the ring. "Now Drew, if you wanna be the Chosen One so bad then get down on your knees playa." The crowd starts chanting ON YOUR KNEES! "C'mon Drew, it's all right playa." McIntyre finally gets on his knees. "There you go, now that wasn't so bad. Now I want you to say I am the most handsome." McIntyre: "You're the most handsome, debonnaire, high-class, sharp dressed and intelligent." Long: "Now Drew, there's one other thing. I want you to say that is an honor to have Teddy Long as your boss." McIntyre: "I am so honored and privileged to have Teddy Long as my boss." Long: "Thank you Drew, you can get up now." McIntyre: "Now Teddy, please tell me I am in the Money in the Bank match now." The crowd yells NOOOO. Long: "Not by a long shot playa. Just a minute Drew, don't get hot. If you want a way in, you got to earn your way in. Tonight, you're going to have to beat a man that you don't have much luck with, and that is Kofi Kingston! Good luck." Long leaves with a smile on his face while McIntyre is furious in the ring. Coming up next Chavo Guerro, Dolph Ziggler and MVP face off in a match for one of the empty slots in the SmackDown ladder match after the break. The announcers plug WWE's YouTube page when we come back.

* Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. MVP

Even though Vickie Guerrero walked away from Ziggler last week she still accompanies him to the ring tonight. Matt Striker flirts with Vickie as she makes her way to do commentary. The bell rings and Guerrero and ZIggler gang up on MVP. It appears more as a handicap match but MVP is holding his own taking both men out. MVP can't overcome the odds though and they double suplex him. Ziggler pins him and Chavo doesn't try to break up the count. MVP still kicks out at 2, then avoids more double teaming by tossing both Chavo and Dolph over the top rope to the floor before we go to a commercial break.

MVP gets a 2-count on Ziggler when we come back. Chavo pulls MVP's feet from under him and the heels continue to attack him. MVP fights off Chavo and Dolph but they still beat him down. Ziggler climbs the turnbuckle, MVP fights off Chavo and shoves him into Ziggler who ends up crotching himself. MVP goes up and hits a big superplex! Chavo is first to his feet and has some internal conflict looking up at the briefcase and back at Vickie. Chavo makes the cover on MVP and only gets 2. Vickie leaves commentary to yell at him, and he covers MVP for 2. Ziggler gets up and attacks Chavo while he's arguing with Vickie and yells "You don't ruin this for me!" Chavo fights back and goes for the Three Amigos. MVP gives him a back body drop and clotheslines Ziggler. He kicks Chavo and throws Ziggler out of the ring then hits the knee facebuster. MVP gets ready to ball, but tosses Ziggler first then hits the BALLIN'elbow drop on Chavo. He follows it up with the Play of the Day but Vickie pulls the referee out! MVP complains and Ziggler sneaks in from behind to apply the sleeper hold and MVP is out. WINNER and Qualifying for Money in the Bank: Dolph Ziggler.

We come back from break with the same Alberto Del Rio promo from last week where he talks about "always accomplish the impossible" and the "embodiment of inspiration."

Backstage Josh Matthews is in the trainer's office with Rey Msyterio, and the doctor/trainer explains what happened to Rey's ankle. There's some tear of ligaments here and there, then Matthews asks Mysterio about how he feels but Jack Swagger interrupts! He grabs Mysterio by the ankle and puts on the ankle lock while Mysterio screams in pain speaking in English and Spanish. Swagger slams Rey's knee on the hard floor then swings him into a board that's leaning on a wall. He drags Mysterio's lifeless body some more towards a curtain, stares at him then applies the ankle lock once again. He drags him out into the arena near the stage still applying the lock. Big Show finally makes the save and Swagger backs away. Show stares a hole through Swagger then turns to Mysterio who tells the personel not to touch his leg. Breaktime. Looks like they're chumping Mysterio on his World Heavyweight Title reign... yup, AGAIN.

* Christian & Matt Hardy vs. Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer

We see a clip from last week when Matt Hardy threw Christian into some ladders during The Peep Show segment. Hardy and Hawkins will start the match. Hawkins eats a sholder block and a clothesline early on. Hardy wrenches the arm but then gets a forearm to the face. Archer tags in and gets a 2-count. He hangs Hardy on the ropes then takes him down for 2. Hardy fights back and hits a tornado DDT. Hardy goes for the tag, but Christian grabs his arm and yanks him over the ropes! he leaves and the crowd boos him. Archer brings Hardy back in and hits the inverted DDT, then tags in Hawkins so he can hit the top rope elbow drop for the win. WINNERS: Hawkins and Archer. We get a replay of the ending then we get a reminder of tonight's main event of Show vs. Swagger. After this next commercial, Drew McIntyre gets his chance to be the final entrant in the Money in the Bank match for the SmackDown side. During the commercial break, we get a commercial for Ricky Steamboat: The Life Story of the Dragon.

* Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston {IC Champ}
  [non-title match]

Since Kingston is already in the ladder match he's safe, but if McIntyre wins then he qualifies for the match. The bell rings and Kofi goes for a quick schoolboy rollup for 2. They lock up and Drew brings Kofi to a corner, then Kofi locks in a side headlock. He brings him to the crowd but then McIntyre punches him in the gut. Kofi slides under him then hits a crossbody for 2. McIntyre stops his momentum and gets a 2-count followed by a chinlock. The crowd chants for Kofi as he fights his way up but McInyre drops him. He whips him, misses a clothesline then suffers a monkey flip. McIntyre comes back by slamming his face on the turnbuckle. Kingston kicks him and punches him in the head for a 2-count. The crowd's KOFI chants get louder but McIntyre covers for 2. Kofi gets a backslide for 2 but McIntyre remains in control until Kingston gets a pendulum kick. McIntyre cuts him off before hitting a springboard move and gets another 2-count before we go to a commercial break.

We come back and McIntyre has Kingston grounded with an abdominal stretch. Kofi gets up and hiptosses him to counter the hold. McIntyre clothesline him but misses the second attack when Kofi rolled out of the way. Kofi hits a double chop twice but McIntyre swats away a dropkick. McIntyre blocks the S.O.S. and sits Kofi on the top turnbuckle but Kofi fights back and hits a crossbody from the second turnbuckle onto Drew's BACK for a near-fall! Kofi hits a clothesline then the Boom Drop. He misses Trouble in Paradise but connects with a spinning heel kick for 2.9999! Kingston holds onto the ropes but McIntyre catches him by the legs and flips him over to slam him face-first for a near-fall. McIntyre blocks a tornado DDT but got hit with a dropkick. Kingston gives him no breathing room because he flies at him with a suicide dive! The ref counts to 8 and both men make in back to the ring. McIntyre is hanging on the apron and Kingston is thinking Boom Drop again, but McIntyre pulls him into the ringpost. He drags him into the ring to hit the Future Shock double-underhook DDT to qualify. WINNER and Qualifying for Money in the Bank: Drew McIntyre. This was a really good match, so go watch it if you missed it.

Todd Grisham and Matt Striker bring us to the events of last week when Serena saved CM Punk from Kane with his alibi. The end of the video shows Punk yelling at Serena "Do you have any idea what you just did?!" We see Rosa Mendes working out backstage in a hallway as Punk and Luke Gallows walk past her. They stop to gaze at her, shake their heads and continue on to the ring. Breaktime.

We come back with another Alberto Del Rio promo vid, athis time he has a butler poor him some wine. He says he was a hungry baby consuming as much knowledge as possible.

CM Punk and Luke Gallows get in the ring and we get back to the show. Gallows: "Last week, all of you people saw a side of the S.E.S. that you were never supposed to see and that's because of one person. So Serena, if you any any shred of dignity left, get out here right now!" Serena: "This has been the hardest week of my life. Punk, you mean way more to me than just my leader. You are everything to me. You are my world. Last week, I made a terrible mistake when I allowed myself to get drunk. And I made a mistake when I defied you. You have to know why I did what I did last week. I did it for you, to save you and protect you. Kane is a monster; he's crazy, he's out of control. If I hadn't saved you I don't what would've happened to you. You think I could've let that happen? I had to put a stop to that. Punk please, please forgive me." Gallows: "Serena, you're the most pathetic person I've seen in my life. He's not gonna forgive you. It makes me sick that I ever considered you a sister in our Straight Edge Society. When we found you in the bar that night I wanted to kick you out of the S.E.S. But it's not up to me, it's Punk's decision. You were supposed to set an example for women all around the world that they too can lead the straight-edge lifestyle, but you ruined it." Serena: "I said I was sorry!" Gallows: "If you're sorry you'll leave the S.E.S. forever." CM Punk snatches the microphone from Gallows after that last statement. Punk: "The only good thing you said so far tonight is that it's not your decision; it's MINE. And I forgive her." Gallows is unhappy with Punk's decision and leaves. Serena: "Punk, I can never explain what you've done for me, but I promise I will never fail you again." Punk: "You better not." Punk opens his arms (well, only one arm because his right arm is still in a sling) and Serena embraces him. Gallows stands at the top of the ramp staring at them in the ring still unhappy with Punk forgiving her. Breaktime with a promo for WWE Money in the Bank then a commercial for WWE Magazine's "Best of 2010" at WWEShop.com.

* "Dashing" Cody Rhodes vs. JTG

Rhodes has a new theme song, and a new digital mirror on the stage! Actually that was pretty cool how he looked in the mirror on the HD screen and his reflection was on it. JTG gets his usual pops when he comes out. The bell rings and they lock up with JTG getting a couple armdrags. He gets him in a hammerlock, Cody misses a clothesline, but then Cody slams him out of a corner. Rhodes body slams him then stomps on him. He picks him up to punch him in the face then applies the chinlock. JTG fights back to hit a jumping back elbow and a somersault shoulder block. Rhodes to him with a forearm shot and an inverted suplex. JTG counters him with a punch to the face but Rhodes responds with the Cross Rhodes for the win. WINNER: "Dashing" Cody Rhodes.

Backstage Josh Matthews interviews Kelly Kelly noting that she gets a title match at the PPV against Layla. Kelly starts to talk but Layla shows up calling her "Smelly Kelly" and gets ready to spray air freshener at her. Kelly knocks the can away but before she can go on the attack Michelle McCool jumps her from behind and LayCool beat up Kelly. They leave and Tiffany finally shows up to check on her blonde friend. Breaktime.

We come back to relive the earlier scene when Swagger went ballistic on Rey Mysterio and then Big Show scared him off. Matthews interview Big Show next. Show: "I'm well aware of what Jack Swagger did to me two weeks ago. I was the first one to wind up in the ankle lock. I never felt pain like that before. Jack Swagger wants to make people suffer. Rey's suffering right now, and I know how bad he hurts. Jack Swagger put that ankle lock on me. That's the closest I think I ever came to feeling my bones break. That was two weeks ago, and I'm a giant, and I heel fast. So tonight I'm 100%. Jack wants to make people suffer and put fear in people's minds. I think tonight I put some fear in Jack Swagger. I think tonight I make Jack Swagger suffer." Breaktime.

* Jack Swagger vs. Big Show

Big Show is smiling slapping fans' hands, but he gets in the ring and is all business. Swagger is pointing at the ankle and when the bell rings he gets right after it. Show pushes him off, Swagger goes for it again, Show picks him up but Swagger slips out and clips the leg. Show tosses him up and down then goes on offense. He gets in his face and slaps him HARD in the chest. He chokes him in the corner, shushes the crowd, then CHOPS Swagger. He gives him another slap to the chest then stands on him. He whips Swagger to a corner, runs at him crushing him with his ass then runs him down with a shoulder tackle. Swagger punches Show in the leg, hangs him on the top rope then wraps his leg around the ringpost. Swagger goes for the ankle lock but Show kicks him off. Show pushes him over the top rope with one hand, follows him out and they brawl outside. Punches, headbutts and chops are traded while the referee counts all the way to 10 so it's a DOUBLE COUNTOUT.

Swagger backs away as Show stalks him on the stage. Swagger kicks Show's leg from under him and then slams it on the steel stage. Swagger walks away as Show is angry from what happened. Swagger walks through the curtain and KANE grabs him by the throat yelling "We need to talk!" He brings him into a dark red room and accuses him of taking out the Undertaker. He says since he has been bragging that he likes to make people suffer he is certain Swagger did it. Swagger claims he has an alibi, Kane wants him to prove it and Swagger says he will prove it next week. Kane gets in his face and says, "You have one week and your alibi had better be a good one, because if there is even the slightest bit of doubt in my mind you will be condemned to hell in eternal suffering!" Swagger is panting in fear looking around the red room as SmackDown goes off the air.
