The premiere of Metro Pro Wrestling on Metro Sports happens July 24

Kansas City, MO – The debut of Metro Pro Wrestling takes place this Saturday, July 24, 2010, at 11 p.m. on Metro Sports in Kansas City . The program is one of several episodes taped back on Saturday, June 5, inside the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City , KS .

ECW Original Tommy Dreamer, former WWE Tag Team Champ Trevor Murdoch and Midwest independent star Michael Strider headline the debut episode. Other matches will see "Primetime" Paul Diamond face Tony Morales, The New School (Jack Mecidol and Dustin Uhrich) battle American Ground & Air (Nate Bash and Ben Sailer) and NWA Central States Champion Mark Sterling takes on the Viking Warrior.

Metro Sports is a 24-hour, all-sports cable network owned and operated by Time Warner Cable Kansas City. The program, which again airs at 11 p.m. Saturday night, will be shown on Metro Sports (Channel 30) and Metro Sports HD (Channel 1030) on Time Warner Cable. It will also simulcast on Comcast Cable and Sunflower Cable in the Kansas City area as well.
