With that out of the way here's the latest wrestling news, and unfortunately it's more sad news to start, coming from Bill Behrens on behalf of the National Wrestling Alliance.

The NWA mourns the passing of NWA Hall Of Fame wrestler, Francois Miquet also know as Corsica Joe who died in Nashville, TN on 3-14-10 at the age of 90.     Joe and his tag team partner Corsica Jean were inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2008 at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA. The team held the NWA World Tag Team Titles (Mid-America Version) 5 different times from 1957-1959. The team was also 2 time NWA Southern Tag Team Champions (Georgia version) in 1965.     Joe was married for 43 years to professional wrestler Sara Lee who died April 5, 2008.     Both Joe & Sara appeared for NWA TNA on the early weekly PPVs.

Our condolences to all of Joe's family and friends.

Former NWA/TNA tag team champion Andy Douglas of The Naturals retired from in-ring competition during a Showtime All-Star Wrestling event at the Nashville Fairgrounds Sports Arena last night after losing the SAW International Title to his former tag team partner Chase Stevens. (PWI)

Adam Pearce is the new (and returning) NWA World Champion after winning the belt in a three-way elimination match with Blue Demon Jr. and Phil Shatter at a show in Charlotte, NC this afternoon. (WO)

Apparently Vince McMahon's yacht anchored in Boca Raton, Florida is named "The Sexy Bitch." This hasn't gone over too well with the people covering Linda McMahon's Senate campaign. (WO)
