Welcome back for another awesome week from the newest member of The AngryMarks Podcast Network - talkIMPACT Radio! On their second show for the site Indy, Coolkdog, SBR and Swarley have a DOUBLE HEADER of guests - that's right it's two for the price of NONE since all our shows are FREE! Join TI Radio as they interview Ring of Honor standout Kory Chavis and the 'Living Legend' Larry Zbyszko! Join us every Saturday at 6 PM EST for a new edition of talkIMPACT Radio courtesy of your friends at The AngryMarks Podcast Network. As a bonus we have some notes from the interview with TI Radio below.

This week's episode of talkIMPACTradio was originally scheduled to host Jerry Lynn. Unfortunately Jerry had to reschedule to next Thursday.  So the producers at talkIMPACTradio pulled some strings and delivered the best they could to make up for lack of Jerry Lynn.

About a quarter through the broadcast, "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko gave us an impromptu call.

Larry was kept on the show for about 15 minutes.

-Indy asked Larry what he's been up to. Larry first said he may be interrupted cause his girlfriend just got into a wreck. He said otherwise he's good. He just did the movie Ultimate Deathmatch 3 with other wrestling personalities such as Kevin Nash, Shane Douglas, Abyss, Ted Dibiase and others. It should be out on DVD soon. Jakks Pacific just gave Larry a deal for an NWA Legends Action Figure deal. His first action figure deal since the mid 80's.

-Larry was asked about his match with Scotty 2 Hotty. He remembered the fans chanting "Match of the Year."  He acknowledges it could have been a rib, but they officially chanted it so he counts it as an official candidate.

-Mike the Mark asked Larry about his thoughts on TNA. Larry said he saw the live show they did last week. He had mostly good words on it, mentioned some of the guys he liked seeing.

-Larry said he has a great time at Indy shows. Treat the "names" great, even better than TNA/WWE sometimes.

-Larry was asked about being the Executive Director for Full Impact Pro in Florida..  And the guys had to explain to him what FIP was, he had no recollection of it. Odd moment.

-Indy asked about Larry's feud with Ric Flair stemming from Scott Hall's youtube videos. Larry said it's easy to pick on Flair since his wife beat the crap out of him. Larry went into detail on how Flair chickened out on a match with him.

-Mike the Mark asked Larry what Bruno Sammartino meant to his career. Larry talked about how he idolized Bruno and was blown away about working with his hero. When he started driving at 16 years old, He would make it a point to drive by Bruno's house (like a stalker). One day he built up the nerve and crawled through Bruno's hedges while he was in the yard and introduced himself. He went into detail on how much he learned from Bruno. Good stuff. He talked about how Vince was close to going out of business. When Bob Backlund had the belt and all the fans were dressed like chairs. And he and Bruno were able to fix it. And managed to sell out Shea Stadium, a feat he deemed as "unheard of."

-Larry reminds everyone to checkout his book, You can buy it on Amazon.com..  "The Adventures in Larryland."

On the second half of the show, TI Radio was joined by current Ring of Honor and EVOLVE superstar Kory Chavis.

-Kory was asked about working in NWA Wildside. Kory said it was probably the most fun time of his career. Everybody came through wildside from AJ Styles to Abyss and so forth. His favorite moment in Wildside was winning the Wildside title. He was a heel that night but once he won the title he got a standing ovation, Crazy experience.

-Kory said he got in contact with Gabe Sapolsky through Wildside.. In 2006 he moved to Florida and that's when met with Sal. Got to do FIP, some more ROH..  And is now in EVOLVE as well.

-A caller asked about the tag match Kory was involved in at EVOLVE 1. Kory said the match idea was to get away from the regular idea of tag matches, but it didn't go over very well. Wasn't really explained well. It was confusing, but they went with it. The caller said he didn't mind it, just was unsure what happened.

-Mike the Mark talked about how Kory Chavis turned down a record deal with a major label for wrestling. Kory said it was an extremely hard decision. He really loves music. And he loves wrestling. But he can't give 100% to both, and he chose wrestling.

-Kory was asked about holding the record for the NWA TV title the longest. He said it was a huge honor for him when they told him they wanted him to hold the belt. He recalled the heroes he watched as a child holding the same belt he had. He *thinks* his record was broken but doesn't know if it's official.

-Swarley asked Kory what it's like working with Jim Cornette. Kory said Cornette is a fountain of knowledge and it's an honor to learn from him. He was asked if he's seen Cornette flip out on anyone yet. Kory said he has but won't say who, but it was in the locker room. Kory said as long as he's not flipping out on him, he can laugh about it.

-Kory was asked about working Kurt Angle in TNA. Kory said he considers Angle a legend of wrestling and it was an honor. He said he got the call to do it about 2 days before. Just a 15 minute drive for him so he said he'd be dumb not to. Swarley talked about how TNA has people like Kory at their disposure down the street and they opt to fly in guys from across the country. Kory said he was on their cape about that. He claims TNA liked his work with Angle, Morgan and Mesias but they didn't stick with him. Swarley said he'd love to see TNA bring in the Dark City Fight Club and squash the Nasty Boys. Kory quickly agreed, citing "I'd love to squash the Nasty Boys."

There was more to this interview, Good stuff. Great last minute show.

And remember Jerry Lynn rescheduled with us for next week. So next Thursday at 9pm, Jerry Lynn will be on talkIMPACTradio.  Details on the site about that as well, You can submit your questions for Jerry Lynn to   talkIMPACTradio@gmail.com.
